This is gameplay of the brand new (Coming soon to Wii Ware) game Niki – Rock ‘n’ Ball.

A brand new game where the object is to defeat enemies and collect pearls before moving onto the next level.

The game features a NES style control set up as well as an innovative new Wii style one (Featured in the video).

Thanks to all at Bplus for the footage and also for making Plattchen. Which today still remains one of my favourite Wii Ware games, so here’s hoping that Niki is as good as it looks. Because I just can’t wait to get my hands on it :)

Which speaking of, if you are interested in this game, then be sure to check my channel often for the full video review :D

This didn’t come out today. And Today is North America’s release, not Europe.

So I haven’t bought Bruiser And Scratch (Or is it Snatch?) because it’s not out here. So I can’t help I’m afraid.

  • smailsnail says:

    It *WILL* feature …
It *WILL* feature co-op? Does that mean they’re releasing an update (because if so, I’ll reconsider not buying it), or did you just get your tenses wrong?

  • smailsnail says:

This was a bit odd, …
This was a bit odd, since I got the same trailer from my BPlus YouTube subscription as well – and was confuzzled at why I had the same trailer twice, in completely different ends of my subs box. Ah well – the game looks pretty good, and is in-keeping with the presentation last seen in Plattchen. Let’s hope they don’t overcomplicate it this time, but by the looks of things, this could be a real treat. Plus, since it’s already been age rated, it shouldn’t be long now until a release appears.

  • hansolo350 says:

This looks like it will be good, I’m still on the fence about Plattchen though.

  • DEIVION212 says:

    Yup, that’s why …
Yup, that’s why they put both types in. Just incase :)

It’s always the way to go really, because sometimes you feel like Wii controls, sometimes you don’t.

When I’ve got a really bad head for example, I just want to sit in the corner and play, and that’s impossible with Wii controls.

  • ZeroKnoble says:

    At first I was …
At first I was thinknig…”Bleh, Wii remote controls…” But after I read that you can use NES type controls as well, I think I’ll buy this. :P
