I suck at it. Does anyone have tips. Andcan you tell me when to release the B button?
The bowling is one of those strange things where you keep sucking at it, till you inadvertantly discover the trick to it. When you swing the wiimote be sure to swing back then, when swinging forward release B anywhere between hip level and full extension of your forward arm. It's really hard to explain without being able to show you, but just play around with it, and you'll eventually get the hang of it.
Keep in mind that if you turn your wrist to one side or the other while releasing B, you will put a spin on the ball and it will curve to either side. You can adjust where you stand to compensate for a natural spin by using the d-pad left and right buttons.
Hope this helps. Keep at it, and you'll get it eventually!

Personal Experience
For bowling you can change the spin on the ball by tilting the controller to the left or right while you are swinging the controller forward. Tilting to the left will cause the ball to curve to the left and right to the right. Be careful about how much of a tilt you use.
As far as a release point, it is a matter of figuring this out on your own due to the nature of your own swing and spin. However, I can say that if you release at the bottom of the throw, the ball will pick up the spin and curve earlier. Of course, the later you release the less spin and curve the ball will pick up.
The last thing I've noticed is there is a bit of speed control based on the forward and back tilt on the controller. Keeping it level as you swing (a better visual might be described as keep the controller in a straight line with your arm) will just let the ball go at a the speed you put behind it in your throw. Snaping your wrist up at the end will put a slight backspin on the ball and allow it to pick up more of the left and right spin. I haven't tested sanping down at the end of the throw, but I imagine that it would put a front spin on the ball which would cause it to travel a little faster.
