I got a Wii for christmas yesterday. I find myself not enjoying it because I cannot move the controler properly. We placed the sensor at the top of our tv and when I move my hand around to get the clicker, for example when typing in my name, it doesn't go where I want it and then when I get it where I want it the slightest move takes it away.
Please any advice is greatly welcomed. I want to experience the joy of this system and how it is interactive but I'm struggling with the remote.
There is a setting in the control panel for the location of the sensor bar. You have two choices above or below the tv. Make sure it is set correctly, and also make sure the sensor bar is not blocked and you have no other infrared sources by your tv.

Use the remote off of direction pointing and not where you are pointing to on the tv. IE dont aim at the tv just move it. if theres any more issues try adjusting the sensativity
