One question seemed to be on everyone’s lips leading to Sept. 12 2007 – is Halo 3 game out was that question.  Over a year later the answer is a resounding yes – Halo 3 added to the history made by Halo on consoles like the Xbox 360.

This character, a cybernetic enhanced super soldier, is a persona taken on by gamers who play this first-person shooter. He was designed to be the strong silent type.  Master Chief hardly speaks in the series, and his face is never seen. The same characteristic makes the character work, and is a flaw with the character.  A character with no face or real personality could be the gamer playing the game.

Is Halo 3 game out became a symbol of the acceptance of video games in the entertainment and pop culture world.  The Master Chief was considered a new millennium celebrity, described by the creators of the series as a blank slate to which any gamer could add their personality.  Fans could make of Master Chief whatever they wanted in a hero – he was the ideal. How would people not like someone they could make into whatever they wanted?
