Wii help i am going to buy some wii games in america and i am wondering if they will work on my wii console that i bought in Australia .. ? PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No. They will not work. Australia is region PAL, America is region NTSC.

You could buy the PAL Freeloader to be able to play the NTSC games, but it would be much easier to just buy PAL games for your system.

Maybe. Games are different around the world. I was in switzerland and i wanted to buy a game but they said i have to have the system from switzerland.

no it will positively will not work. the wii is region specific and usa games are NTSA/USA aussie games are pal so unless your wii is modded and can get past the region codes dont even try the american games on your wii

no but there is an alternative, the nintendo wii freeloader or the wiikey both work ones better though the freeloader its a disc you insert it and then wait for the drive to stop and then insert the game its as easy as that as for the wiikey you have to solder it onto the mainboard risky but works . hope this helps
