Nintendo Wii Downloads

like download them from the internet and put them on my wii's hard drive to play them like virtual console?

Well, according to a friend of mine, it can be done. When I first got my Wii, he started downloading games from the older versions of Nintendo to put on there. Only I wouldn't let him since everyone so often, he gets a file with a virus and I don't want to deal with that. But I guess you could at least try. Right now he's trying to find Micro Machines for me since they don't seem to want to add it to the virtual console list.

What website would i go to and how would i download them?

Well, check the following article that might help you….

You need your Wii to be modified with a mod-chip before you play burned games or movies and music etc.
Of course it can play any game of your own, and any movie as you wish after you get your Wii mod-chip installed!
It's a very mature technical now so it won't have problem if you get your Wii modified.
Also you can download any PAL or NTSC Wii game as you wish online now.

About the downloading and backup and copy games service: There are serveral sites providing such download services. They are very excellent on the contents, not only Complete big Wii games like Metroid, LOR, SSBB, American Idols and Guitar Heroes etc. But also many movies, Wii tv shows, music and videos much more!!!

All you need is to join one of those sites to download so many resources. So you can download all those media as you wish!

And some sites can provide simple software help you to burn the ISO Games into DVDs, it is very easy and fast. After the instructions by them, you can go ahead to play those games you burned onto your Wii.

getting a wii the weekend . but have a few questions . all questions for a UK PAL Machine

1) can you download retro games on the Wii channel like japan and america ?
2) can you plug straight into the broadband connection or does it have to have a wireless reciever .
3) what games do you recommend ?

1 - yes, there is a marketplace to download the retro games,

2 - it has a wireless router built in so its all ready to connect to your network but you cannot connect broadband directly to it.

3 - not too many actual wii games, if you got a group of people then mario party 8 would be good. Wii sports is a great little game and Zelda is perfect for the motion sensing controls. Plus any of the retro ones are classics, just choose your favourite and download

The only problem with the retro games is they don't bump up the graphics, they're exactly the same as the originals so they look a bit silly sometimes on a HD TV but at least they don't take out the best bits like on the Xbox 360 retro games.
